Hoh is an improved version of Bogota Market, to which it is quite similar. It resulted from a cross between Bogota Market and wild mashua, followed by a backcross to Bogota Market. It has a significantly larger average tuber size, greater yield, and resists cracking in even really wet soil (for which we had a really good test year). Tubers can be very long, probably from the influence of wild mashua. If you want a mashua that can give you a bucket load of tubers from a single trellised plant, this would be a good one to try. Late flowering.
Contains enough material to grow at least two plants. There may be two tubers, two pieces, or a large tuber that can be cut in two.
