This will be a new mix for 2017. These seeds are a mix collected from the best of our late tetraploid lines, most of which are 2nd to 5th generation varieties grown from seed. The seeds are collected from late bearing varieties (150 days or more) and will produce potatoes with a wide variety of characteristics, including different skin and flesh colors, different flower and foliage colors, and all shapes and sizes. Because they are collected from late maturing varieties, they are more likely to produce lates. Late season potatoes should be grown right up to the end of the growing season and harvested after the vines are killed by frost. If you live in an area with a long, mild autumn, like much of the Pacific Northwest, you can get very high yields from late potatoes.
