This item is a pre-order for our 2017 crop, to be delivered between fall 2017 and spring 2018.
A Korean commercial variety (although it almost certainly originated in the Andes). High yielding. May be more resistant to cracking in wet soil than other varieties. A reasonably good seed producer and we now have several seedlings out of this variety. Lower sweetness at harvest than most varieties, although it becomes sweeter with exposure or storage. This variety might be more interesting for use as a cooked vegetable, since it doesn’t get as sweet as most varieties.
Medium height, tan tuber, green stem mottled with purple, medium dormancy. Early flowering (about 160 days).
3 rhizome pieces with multiple growing tips
