Solanum dolichocremastrum (dolichocremastrum leans something like long hanging or hanging down) is a wild potato species native to Peru.  Plants reach about two feet tall.  Tubers round and white, reaching about an inch in diameter.

Vega (1995) found that this species is less frost tolerant than domesticated potato.

Cultivation

I have found this species difficult to germinate.  It may require different conditions than the standard for S. tuberosum.
