True potato seed information and growing instructions
True potato seeds are classified as breeding seeds and germination is not guaranteed.

Yana Condori is a Bolivian tetraploid that produces a lot of plants with beautiful (and tasty) flesh, in combinations of yellow with blue or red.  I have been using it quite a bit for breeding and bulked up the seed this year, producing more than I need, so the excess is offered here. This is not as heavily selected as most of what I offer and you will get mostly short day tuberizers with fairly small tubers.  It is rare that you will get a variety that you want to keep forever from this seed.  Instead, the idea here would be to pick a few with really intense flesh color and then cross those with better performing tetraploids.  You have a possibility here to get intense yellows that are more often found in diploids and, since Yana Condori is tetraploid, that makes it much easier to cross the color into modern tetraploids.  I’m just offering a little excess here and this will not stay in the catalog forever.
