This item is a pre-order for our 2017 crop, to be delivered between fall 2017 and spring 2018.
A fairly short variety, reaching about six feet here, but still very productive. May grow taller in warmer summer climates, as most varieties do. Late. Small to medium tubers are pink to purple and relatively smooth. It is often reported to be a non-knobby variety, but we find that it is about a 50/50 mix of smooth and knobby. Moderately spreading. A late and shy flowerer. One of the more common sunchokes available in North America.
Three tubers or cut pieces of tubers if too large for packaging.
