Accession Details

An andigena type tetraploid collected in Carchi Ecuador before 1957.  The parent was bred by a Sr. Bastidas.  A1 type cpDNA (Sukhotu 2005).  GRIN notes resistance to early and late blight.

Observations

TPS.  Normal germinator, 7+ days.  High germination.  Intermediate survival to transplant.  Compressed, oblong.  Whites and light yellows with blue.  White to light yellow flesh.  Short stolons.  Late season, some short day.
