Accession Details
A phureja type diploid collected in Guachucal Colombia in 1957. GRIN notes reistance to late blight. Selections from this accesssion tested very high for caroteinoids and antioxidants (Pillai 2013).
Observations
TPS. Poor survival. Elliptic. Red and yellow with light yellow flesh. Late and apparently short day. Short stolons.
Commentary
Few survivors and those do not match what is reported in GRIN, so we should try this one again.
