A stenotomum type diploid collected in Potosi Bolivia before 2005.  GRIN notes late blight, blackleg, soft rot, tuber moth resistance.  CIP public domain MTA.  S type cpDNA (Sukhotu 2003).

Observations

Clone.  Round to oblong, white skin and flesh, sometimes with a slight red blush at the proximal end.  Tubers have varied significantly in size over three growing seasons, but they are capable of producing large 4-5 inch tubers and yields in excess of two pounds during long days.  Late maturity.  Large plants.  Floriferous.  Abundant pollen.  Short stolons.  Intermediate dormancy.  Fairly vulnerable to scab under dry conditions.  Floury texture, moderately thick skin.
