This mix contains unselected seeds. While our other mixes are selected for edible qualities, this mix contains seeds of many first year varieties that did not necessarily have good edible traits. This is a good way to get a lot of genetic diversity and might be more interesting if you are more interested in ornamental than edible varieties. There are most likely interspecies crosses in this mix, mostly between garden dahlia and D. coccinea, but probably also with other wild species. I can’t really tell you what to expect because we don’t grow out these seeds. If you want to take a gamble on getting something unusual, this is the mix for you.
