Backgrounds are ACS (Solanum acroscopicum), AJN (Solanum ajanhuiri), AND (Andean domesticated potato), CHL (Chilean domesticated potato), CUR (Solanum curtilobum), JUZ (Solanum juzepczukii), TUB (Tuberosum – modern potatoes of complex lineages)

Photoperiod is either day neutral (producing tubers without regard to day length) or short day (producing tubers primarily after the autumn equinox).

Maturities are early (80 days or less), mid (80 to 100 days), or late (100 days+).  Additionally, short day varieties are noted as Late (SD), late as a consequence of day length requirement.

Dormancy is short (nothing to 30 days), mid (intermediate – 30 to 90 days), or long (90 days or more).

Max size is tuber length measured across the longest axis of the largest tubers.

Tuber counts are our average at harvest.

Yield categories are 1: Low (1 pound or less), 2: Intermediate (between 1 and 3 pounds), and 3: High (3 pounds or more).

Max size, tuber count, and yield are dependent on climate, so your results could be quite different from mine.  It is best to look at these as relative characteristics, not absolute.
